It all started with a simple suggestion & a survey.
As the creator of Log Your Memory and a line of workbook-style logbooks for scrapbookers, I am always on the lookout for new ways to help scrapbookers do what they do best … scrap! So when one of my Creative Team members, who is also a digital scrapbook product designer, asked if I’d ever considered creating a book especially for those in the business of scrapping, the wheels started turning.
Fast forward several months to the spring of 2010 and the Scrapbooker’s Survey, a set of questions intended to help shape future product and service development at Log Your Memory.
The feedback from that survey was surprising on one hand, but quite clear on another.
Surprising was the fact that the majority of those surveyed are scrapbookers who are not only members of Creative or Design teams, but are members of multiple teams, often serving on as many as 10 or more at once!
Clear was the message they sent… a love for the work of being on so many teams but a bit of overwhelm when it comes to keeping track of all of the responsibilities that come with the territory.
Hence the birth of Scrap Assistant … a line of products and services developed in response to the specific requests of scrapbook team members.
Operating as its own entity under the Spring Creek Design umbrella, Scrap Assistant is here to respond to the needs of scrapbooking team members – now and in the future. That means I intend to continue seeking and incorporating user feedback to improve and adapt Scrap Assistant products and services to the changing needs of scrapbooking teams.
